My Journey as a Proud Autistic Founder: Celebrating Neurodiversity Through Design
Embracing my autism and turning it into a strength has been the most empowering journey of my life. As a proud autistic founder, I'm excited to share my story with you. My name is Bailey Bender, and I'm the founder of Benderstar Digital, a platform where neurodiversity meets design. Through my journey, I've learned that our differences are what make us unique and valuable. I'm passionate about spreading positivity and empowerment to families and neurodivergent individuals, and I'm thrilled to take you along on this journey with me.
Although I faced challenges in my job search after graduating with a marketing degree, I refused to let that hold me back. Instead, I saw an opportunity to forge my own path and create a business that aligns with my passions. Through entrepreneurship, I've been able to shape my future and promote acceptance and understanding of neurodivergence. I'm dedicated to creating products that celebrate and empower individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other neurodiverse conditions, and to changing the narrative around these conditions. I'm proud to be a part of a movement that values inclusivity, diversity, and creativity.
Through my designs, I spread hope and empowerment to neurodivergent individuals, celebrating their strengths and unique perspectives. My neurodiversity-themed products challenge stigmas and stereotypes, reframing autism and ADHD as strengths, not weaknesses.
